Pangram Puzzles Book

Pangram Puzzles BookPANGRAM word puzzles are a delightful little word puzzle. In a pangram puzzle, you must try and find as many words as you can from the letters provided. The novelty is that you are not simply looking for anagrams, but rather you are allowed to reuse letters in your answer word.

To get a feel for how this works, take a look at the example on the cover:
CEIKOPT. You can probably see fairly quickly some of the words that can be made from the word such as ICE, TOP, PICKET and so on. However, the novelty and much of the challenge comes from the fact that, unlike a wordwheel puzzle, here you may use letters multiple times. Therefore it is possible to make the word PICKPOCKET from this set of letters.

The book contains 150 of these pangram puzzle challenges for you to solve - if you like puzzles such as spelling bee puzzles, or our 'spelling wordwheel' books, then you might well enjoy the puzzles in this book too.

Each of the puzzles provides a series of letters that are presented to you in alphabetical order, just like the above. You are given the target of finding a word of a stated length that is a pangram - uses all of the letters in the word - and in this book all the pangrams will require at least one letter to be used multiple times, so none of them will be simple anagrams.

All the answers are included at the back of the book too, so if you struggle to find any of the pangrams it is easy to find the solutions. We've picked words that, whilst there may be some challenge involved, are all fair - there are no long chemical names or other really obscure or unknown words required to be used to solve any of these puzzles.

For an added challenge, just for fun, you can of course challenge yourself to see how many words of any length you can find from the letters provided.

We hope you'll really enjoy the challenge of solving these 150 pangram puzzles, and if you can't get enough of puzzles such as spelling bee, this could be a good way to get some additional challenges to practice on. Do let us know your thoughts on the book and whether you'd like to see more books like this.
