Path Finder Puzzles

Path Finder Puzzles are essentially a letter maze, in which a string of letters wiggle all around the grid. You must create a path through the maze of letters such that every square is visited once, and you trace out a series of words on a theme along the way as you do so. A square never gets visited more than a single time, every letter gets used along the path, and you may move horizontally or vertically one square at a time, but you never move diagonally.

This book contains 100 themed pathfinder puzzles (you might also have heard of them under the other name of wordpath which is also sometimes used to describe this puzzle type).

They are ideal for those who like solving puzzles such as wordsearch, as they are similar in that there is a list of themed words to find in a grid, but with a novel metric in that instead of finding words in a straight line you are instead finding words wiggling around a grid.

Typically whilst solving these you might find the position of single words but now know how they all link together - there is only one way to do that correctly - to complete the puzzle. So you might find you need to gradually find individual words before you can be confident how they join up, particularly if there are places in the grid where multiple words touch each other.

This book also contains the solutions to all 100 puzzles at the back of the book so you can find the correct route through each of the pathfinder puzzles accordingly.

It is printed on clear white paper in crisp black ink, so the only difficulty should come from solving the puzzles, not reading them!

The puzzles are of medium difficulty, there shouldn't be anything too taxing there and to be fair we show the full wordlist for every puzzle, unlike some pathfinder puzzles where the wordlist is not given - those can be very tricky to solve.
